Olivers opened its doors November 2019. The barbers is owned by Alexander Thomas a professional working in business consultancy. Oliver’s was created to give the customer the right experience in an environment different from all the rest. After months of trying different barbers Alex found that most of barbers in Manchester were industrial looking, some unclean and with customer service below standard. Some barbers refused to cut his hair in the style he wanted, some had reused towels. So whilst sat in a barbers chair that was covered in the previous clients hair, he created a place that would make him feel happy. 

Going to a barbers should be stress free, relaxing and leave you looking great. You should leave feeling positive and feel good about yourself. Studies have shown that visiting your barbers can have a positive outcome on your mental health. Providing your barber is talented and the location is calming. 

Our barbers is like no other, our services are classic and our advanced booking solution makes everything easier for you. 

The design of the barbers, the colours used, the music played and the attention to detail to our environment makes your visit pleasurable. Our talented barbers and colour specialist will help you express yourself the way you want to. 

The challenge was creating such a place without charging prices that other barbers are and we did. Hair cuts starting at £17 and our Skin Fades at £20. We have simple pricing we don’t charge extra for restyles. Prices have not increased due to the pandemic, we actually lowered them. 

As for most businesses in 2020, Olivers has been closed more than it has open. However, we used this time to enhance the store and implement further processes to simplify the experience. Including automatic rebooking & autopayments, online payments at the time of booking and added more services.

We want to be different because being the same as everyone else is boring.
